The motor drive is splined with a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, with bearing support at the end. The three-stage power downfeed with an automatic stop make this machine easy to work with. Included are precision hardened and ground ways and table. There are chrome lead screws and Turcite B on the X and Y axis. There are adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank is built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included).
